Background
I received a Master of Health Administration at Hofstra University, my undergraduate degree at Sarah Lawrence College, and in 2015 I earned a Gerontology Certification from the University of Southern California.
My professional experience includes a diverse range of expertise in the development and implementation of educational and service-oriented initiatives for geriatric, end-of-life, and general patient populations, as well as academia.
I have designed site-specific, sustainable patient and family programs with hospitals including Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Florida Hospital, and NYU Winthrop Hospital. I have worked to train hospital staff in service excellence techniques, team-building strategies, and patient-centered models of care.
In addition to my professional endeavors in the realm of healthcare, my sister and I co-own Douglas Daughters, a company founded to manage the music catalog of our father, Alan Douglas.
